Welcome to Humaira's Henna

Henna has become a dynamic and versatile method for temporary skin decoration. From designs that are intricate to bold henna art, the designs are always 100% unique.

The darkest colour results normally appear in the palms and the bottom of the feet. An applied source of heat will develop a darker colour post application.

Henna or as it more traditionally known, mehndi, is particularly used for occasions such as Eid, Karva Chauth, Diwali, weddings, parties etc. However henna has become almost a fashion accessory as the designs have developed rapidly.

The latest style for henna is the 'strip' or 'vine'. It starts from the base of the palm and continues until the tip of the index finger. The remaining fingers are the filled in with smaller designs. Of course, this design is equally applicable to feet, legs and the design on the hand can extend all the way down the arm.

The henna I use is 100% natural. Please be careful of black henna as it can leave scarring. It is advisable that patch tests are done at least 2 weeks prior to heavy henna application.
